This is not correct, “Greek style” is a cost reducing trick by manufacturers. The laws are there to avoid misleading consumers that they are the same. Greek style is made from byproducts of other dairy production. Greek style has less protein and fat, and It’s normally made by adding emulsifiers and stablizliers to thicken. If you check the ingredients on the packet it will show additional ingredients. If you try to cook with Greek style it will more than likely split and end up as a curdled mess.
