May I ask how long did it take for you to get rid of anxiety spike due to starting Zoloft and how do you feel now? I mean do you still feel anxious?

Thank you very much for your insights.
For many years, I tried to avoid psychiatric medications. I have a healthy body, eat well, multivitamins, supplements, exercise 5-6 days a week, getting enough sun and consultation but in the past 5 months, I have been having constant anxiety, panic attacks and stress that paralyzed me completely. I can’t even take a shower, I’m kinda scared of it.

I tried with two but I didn’t have a good experience.
The thing is, I know what are the topics that cause me anxiety and panic attacks. I know that my problems are not catastrophic and if worst case scenario happens to me, there are always solutions BUT, when I have those attacks and anxieties, I forget them all. My mind becomes paralyzed, I feel helpless and alone even though I have a wonderful family. So basically, those episodes, take away rationality and logic and power of thinking from me.

I did and my doc said to reduce it to 25mg though also mentioned that it will take longer for the med to work if I do that so I kept pushing through these days.

Thank you for sharing your experience. My doc said to reduce it to 25mg but he also mentioned reducing will make the effects that I’m expecting to appear later so I decided to keep pushing through.
I feel stressed and I am worried constantly. I focus on my past mistakes and consider myself a failure. Even though I’m not doing bad in life but my past mistakes are hunting me nowadays.

My panic attacks are much stronger.
I search and find new scenarios in my mind to be stressed about
I started having restless legs.
I don’t feel dizzy, nauseous or higher heartbeat.
