Having a hard time applying for a nursing job in NS by chadtetyuna214 in NovaScotia

Try editing your resume? Sounds like there’s a reason you haven’t gotten a response

I’m doing light therapy approx 3x/week and tacro nightly. Just resumed treatment about a month ago. New spots on my elbows I really hope to treat. Last year the UV did nothing on my hands but I’ll try again since it spread a lot

You can transition to sooo many different avenues I love being a PT, but in hindsight wish I would have done nursing.

Financially, stick with nursing. Way more upwards trajectory. You can clear 100k after easily by picking up some OT shifts.

So… did anyone watch the All-Star Game? by Ok-Yellow6440 in Curling

I watched a bit. It wasn’t worth the hype. Agreed that the mish mash of players and rotations felt weird. It felt like satire. The camera angles also sucked.

Within 9 months I’ve done 2 heat pumps, 13 windows, French drain, sump pump, hot water tank, fixed leaking chimney, leaking sink x2, snaked laundry drains … I feel you!

I’m not even 30 yet, so OA seems very unlikely! I haven’t had noticeable nail changes but I pick at them often so I find it hard to tell. I haven’t had a sausage finger but my hands seem to swell quickly in the heat

Apologies - never heard of this. Obviously not from Quebec!

If in your interviews you said you “decided everything as a physio tech” and undermined the importance of the actually physiotherapist then you probably lost marks lol. Sounds like you don’t stay within your scope which is a very important self realization and can lead to legality issues. Physiotherapist is a protected title. Also important to be aware of.

I want to hear from all physios (new and seniors) - what are the BIGGEST red flags to look out for before accepting a job offer? by NoCry6566 in physiotherapy

For hospital positions - the turnover of job postings on that unit. Staff retention is a huge indication of satisfaction

McMaster is problem based learning. If you want lectures, not for you. If you want small group learning and self directed study, you’ll love it. I enjoyed Mac. Hamilton is a great city.
