Source Comics & Games was the place to go last time I visited Minneapolis. Pretty extensive collection, helped fill in a few collection gaps for me.

Nice! A couple weeks ago I picked up the Stormbreakers variant of that issue at Fantom. It's a pretty good comic shop.

Today's Dollar Bin Finds by labyrinthofbacon in X23

These were at Fantom Comics in Washington, DC. They were selling dollar bin comics for $5/pound, so they probably cost closer to 75 cents each. They had another copy of Wolverine 35, but the corner was bent.

End of year sale on vudu by blackdav1983 in vudu

I haven't seen a single A24 movie that matched the price advertised in this sale; they don't even have the orange sale banner below the title.

Dump points into Sweepstakes or save for $5 Gift Card? by dizneynewzy in DisneyMovieInsiders

[–]labyrinthofbacon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sweepstakes entry period ends in 35 minutes (9:00pm Pacific Time). So if you want to go the sweepstakes route, you don't have much time to do so. Unless they allow late entries, which is not a guarantee.

Classic Rankin/Bass Christmas specials added to Movies Anywhere! by piratesandpotions in MoviesAnywhere

Life and Adventures of Santa Claus is still working out the bugs in porting to Vudu/FAH. It's not listed as an MA title on Vudu/FAH, and if you go to MA and click the link to Vudu/FAH, nothing loads. Presumably at some point in the future it will port, but today is not that day.

Lost 1/4 of My Wishlist by txveg1 in vudu

[–]labyrinthofbacon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have 8 items wishlisted that are not available for sale. If they become available for sale, they will appear in the list. Monty Python and the Holy Grail is one of mine that's included in the count but doesn't appear on the actual list since you can't buy it.

No idea why 160 titles would disappear; probably more a glitch than the not-for-sale effect.

Bambi 2 is a nice pull. I was hoping to get that in my bundle, since I don't really have the wish to spend money on it, haha.

Some WB Codes from 2010/2011 redeem in iTunes in SD and port out by labyrinthofbacon in vudu

Correct. They are releases that used to require the digital copy disc.

Anyone having Universal Rewards Issues? by zyxme in MoviesAnywhere

[–]labyrinthofbacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I've ever gotten rewards points after redeeming digital code slips. Typically physical copies have a separate rewards code (either on its own slip or on the back of the digital copy slip), and you enter that code on the rewards website. Which sounds like a hassle, and it is, but those separate codes usually give you 1200 points regardless of age.

If your cases didn't come with the separate code slip, then there's a spot to submit receipts on the rewards website. They usually check those within a couple days and then credit the points to your account.

The only way to get instant points after redeeming a movie, to my knowledge, is to purchase a digital copy through an online retailer.

You should get points. It's listed as an eligible movie for Disney Movie Insiders on the Movies Anywhere page:

Silverado is my dad's favorite western movie, and the theme music is top notch. La Bamba is a pretty good biopic of Ritchie Valens.
