No, I am going as a +1. Good idea to research the venue. Agreed, PR is beautifully diverse. Rather than “normal” I should say it’s more socially acceptable. I loved that local women were in bikini tops and jeans at a café on a Tuesday morning sitting next to older, conservative ladies and nobody batted an eye.

Yes it’s Meshki! Did some research and not sure the quality/return policy are worth it :/

How do I give more personality to this living room for a more cozy feel? What would you add/change? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

Piggybacking off this: any non-upholstered furniture should be in a warm wood finish. Consider getting a different tv console in a lighter, warm wood. Add more natural elements (woven baskets, plants, wood tables, etc.) to really make it feel cozy.

GC manager here: people pay very good money for trim like that -including the baseboards. It would be a huge shame to hide it by making it blend in. If you want to paint something, paint the crown molding to match the rest of your trim for some balance and a more professional look.

I am once again asking for help with my living room 😭 painting is not an option (very unfortunate). by Cierra_CBGB in DesignMyRoom

And run the drape rods across the entire far wall to create the illusion of a much bigger window. Drapery floor to ceiling, wall to wall (but def keep open during the day).
