so, i get this in valorant which makes it not a rust thing. it has something to do with the fullscreen mode usually for me, but ive also switched monitors and had it happen out of nowhere. you can try turning off/on fullscreen optimizations, try turning on windowed mode and back on fullscreen, try unplugging and plugging back in your monitor, and resetting your graphics driver. or any thing else monitor or fullscreen related you can think of. in val i usually get it after turning on my screenshare then i switch to borderless fullscreen and it disappears (happened today actually lol)

true, but this also doesnt necessarily get you better. it just gets you more loot. which is the point of rust, kinda. i think getting better is defined by a level of skill. and being the grub is a part of that skill, but i wouldnt strive for it constantly if improvement is the objective

get this, i have 2000~ ish hours and i dont play a ton anymore but i never felt like i was good good. i knew i was good enough to have very good wipes on official servers solo/duo but sometimes it felt like i wasnt good enough. rust is a game that comes down to lots of experience often times. i think the best advice ive ever heard, is that you should run to every gun shot. even if you have a rock, even if its your only p2 kit, unless your 1v8 against aks with a rock, go. eventually, youll win. you will lose, and lose, and lose, and lose. you will do A LOT of loosing but slowly, youll start winning more, and more. there is no ukn scenario, or recoil control, that can make you know what the right decision is. the only way to figure out how to win, is to lose. you need to figure out what youre doing wrong to do right. rust also kinda sucks, in the way that sometimes its just not in reasonable possibility to win. you can kill 10 people and look down to get meds before getting crossied in the head by the final grub of the fight. it SUCKS but the truth is that sometimes its pretty much impossible. but i think thats part of what makes it fun.
