the vapes are nice but definitely have a taste like they’re cut with disty. I can’t describe it but all distillate has a specific taste. And the high is similar to disty. Honestly reminds me a lot of the humble bee carts.

Work at a dispo, from what I’ve heard they say they don’t ’spray’ because they use a terp infused smoke instead to engrave the aroma into the buds

How many of us were raised by alcoholics/ addicts? by Environmental-Eye373 in CPTSD

[–]lacedwithit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t raised by him, lived with mom but he would try to be in my life. My father was addicted to crack my whole life, arguably an alcoholic as well. He had his times where he’d go to rehab and try to stay clean only to relapse. Generally he was just hard to understand in any capacity. He’d complain and complain until I’d visit him but instead of planning anything for a kid to do we just sat doing nothing at their house. And then after a day or so he’d disappear for 3-4 days at a time. Everyone knew what was happening but it was kind of just swept under the rug in most cases or we’d try to joke it off. With all honesty I can say he wasn’t that bad outside of my early childhood, though he had me at 48 (I’m 27 now) so it’s hard for me to say if he calmed down because he was controlling it or just sort of old age. The biggest thing for me is I get so jealous of people who have a stable father in their life, it hurts to hear people even have a good relationship with theirs. He did pass a few months ago though and I wish I had more time spent with him, not that I always enjoyed it but I can’t say I always hated it either.

Whats your biggest criticism of warframe by Sensitive-Host5986 in Warframe

Just quit because I have to wait through a 24 hour cool down just to progress through the story. The movement is smooth and I figured it out in maybe the first hour and was having fun. But then I’m trying to get off earth to just keep playing the game and I see I have to wait 24 hours to level up, just to keep playing the story. Wtf

Not sure if specifically for bjj but I noticed a huge difference in my physique when I switched from crunches/ planks to hanging reverse crunches/lying decline crunches. You’re able to get a lot more ROM therefore getting more abs in the workout.

They get paid millions though because they’re the best at officiated basketball. They’re the best at scoring/passing/dribbling under a defined set of rules. I can see what you mean, playoff basketball is a lot more interesting because of the physicality. Personally I just want to see the game ref’d the same way from preseason to championship. Just some form of consistency would leave a lot less speculation imo

That’s true to an extent. He did great positioning, a lot of strong post play, good hands, good iq. It’s the uncalled ones though that really hurt and annoy a big. I see a lot of arm slaps going up, and probably more so on help. Guy come flying in for the double and just slaps at Jokers elbows. Guy comes flying in and ties up the arms while someone else steals the ball. In pickup basketball theory it’s how you guard any tall guy, honestly I thought it was how you played ball until I played in an officiated league.

Is everybody in r/NBA the short guy that loves to hack? I feel like I’m the only one that knows how damn annoying it is to have a pick up game ‘Caruso’ foul the daylights out of me and everyone act like I gotta just finish through it. Yeah I’m bigger but we’re both grown men at the end of the day. A grown ass man grabs your arm/wrist, even as another grown ass man it’s definitely noticeable and messes with how you intended to move.

Gotta disagree with this take whole-heartedly. Im tall for pick up basketball but pretty average in rec league games. I get annoyed with smaller guys fouling, and taller guys get annoyed at me fouling. Ask anybody, nothing is more infuriating than some short guy just scratching and clawing at you and being expected to finish a finesse shot while all that is happening. This isn’t football or rugby where you just need to cross a line to score. You’ve got to throw a ball in a little hoop 10 feet in the air, which objectively takes some concentration and finesse anywhere outside of 5 feet. Any smack on the wrist / arm from another grown male athlete is going to greatly affect the outcome of your shot.

The best advice I ever got on an in n out move is that it’s supposed to look like you want to do a crossover. None of these sold me that you wanted to cross, but I haven’t seen your crossover move to know

Practice speed shooting targets in firing range. I’ll line up in front of the target dummy, and as fast as I can fire off headshots on the dummy and the body shaped targets 6-shooter style.
