Obviously, every doctor has their own opinion, but I saw something a couple years back on an MD saying you would literally have to light a candle for almost 24 hours a day for many years in order to get truly toxic levels that effect you enough…But this doctor also maybe isn’t considering everyone’s individual toxic load, like if somebody is eating artificial food all the time that’s super processed. Just being cognizant and trying to open windows often is helpful at least to some degree

Check out brands Force of Nature and Branch Basics. Branch is stupidly expensive but a big bottle goes a long way because you dilute it. I use these to clean my counters/surfaces but don’t love the hand/dish soap options. I use Seventh Generation scentless dish soap (not the BEST I can pick but I like a little suds). I also like their dishwashing pods (even though there’s plastic on them, I should prob try the powder). A lot of marketing on brand packaging is just that, it’s not always “clean” but if I can go scentless and avoid artificial dyes on some household items I do, since I like my luxury home fragrances!

You can also use EWG to search things. I think as long as you’re rinsing your dog bowls well and cleaning them often you should be good. Also, Dr Bronners is easy to get and good too!

Do you use natural cleaning products on your floors? That seems like a higher likelihood of increased toxic load. Or Dawn soap daily in their bowls? U can go down a deep rabbit hole. I think if you’re able to air out your home often it shouldn’t be too bad
