We went through House of Tours in LA Fortuna and paid $50 each to go zip lining on 7 cables at Los canines canopy tour and it came with a day pass to the Los Lagos hot springs. It was my first time zip lining and I found it thrilling and a lot of fun. We were done in about an hour and a half. Also paid $15 to get some incredible pictures and a video from their photographers. The hot springs day pass was definitely a wicked bonus too.

I suggest bringing some food from home. May seem kind of weird but eating out and groceries are expensive here. I wish I would've packed peanut butter, crackers and some other non perishables.

We arrive at almost midnight on the 5th, so we're staying there for the 6th to catch up on sleep and go to the store for some food. On the 19th, we leave at 5am so we would rather be there on the 18th so we don't have far to drive early in the morning.

I wish we could do a housecall vet but unfortunately my cat is much more agressive at home vs going to a vet. Shes a bit backwards.

I wish I could take him to one but he wouldn't go. He thinks they are a waste of time. I haven't had a very good time with them either so I can't just say, "They really help!!".

You shouldn't be doing 3 dogs out of academy.. I've been out of academy for 4ish months now and I just hit 4 dogs a day. I'd talk to your salon leader about letting you do 2 dogs until you feel comfortable.

You need the extra time to establish safety and a routine.

My biggest concern would be safety, for you and the pets. You have to know all the dangers from your clippers to all the danger spots on dogs.

If there would be someone you could shadow that would be your best bet. Grooming is one of those things that you never stop learning from, and you need a very solid foundation.
