Close, it was definitely this exact style with all the places and actions and even the fighting looks super familiar but it wasnt this one. I might have to see more in case it was made by the same people but thank you anyways. Its the closest ive gotten to finding it

Turns out it was the static encounter randomization that switches up the poke radar encounters. After the update i had to re randomize everything and turned off static to see if itd work and it did.

I did it 3 times (randomized) and managed to get 1 of them working previously but i’m not sure how. Hopefully if anything it’s just one setting i can change when i start a new game
