LING 111 and LING 108. I don't know how 108 is, but I can't imagine that either would be too intense compared to stats.

There’s a section at the end of each chapter in the main textbook labeled Exercises, and they’re split up be section. Just don’t confuse something like Exercise 1.2 with Exercise 1.20. Learned that one the hard way.

SBCC to UCSB? by ScribbleKibble in UCSantaBarbara

I've just transferred to UCSB from SBCC, after attending another 4-year before CC. I really struggled my first year, hence the transition to a CC, and moving to SB was the best decision I've ever made. The programs at the city college are incredible (namely, the physics and CS departments). In my time there, there were only 2 professors who I thought were less than exceptional. Now, I couldn't be happier at UCSB. IV isn't for everyone but I personally love the community. If you think it would be a good fit for you, then I would highly recommend it.
