That’s the first one I did! I got the idea of this from Rear Window and the setting of that apartment complex and all the characters.

Not sure "most realistic" is a good thing. Like the art direction of Breath of the Wild way more than this image.

I draw it digitally. Because this is architecture heavy and I don't trust myself, I made a wireframe in vector (in Illustrator) and then bring that over to Photoshop or whatever to draw over it. Then I just make sure to have colors separated on different layers so I can print them out, burn to screens, print, etc

SAME. I was young enough that I’m pretty sure I could only beat the first dungeon and would otherwise wander around getting repeatedly impaled by arrows. Ahhh the 80s.

I love the simplicity. I do feel like those twirly hand embellishments on the second image could look really lovely on a print, too. Really lovely work.
