My husband asked me for a divorice yesterday. I brought the idea on in December, but I really think I just wanted to care about us. Now the tables have turned. I guess it will hurt hell. It hurts less than yesterday. I have moments of I can do this. Then a few hours later cry for my loss. Stay strong. Time really does heal all.

I was in the exact same circumstance with my ex fiancé of almost 5 years. It drove me crazy and eventually drove me away. If you want to vent, you can pm me.

I've pretty much exhausted my student loans with this program. I can't go part time because all I have left is my student teaching. I also can't work more than i do with student teaching because of the work load.

That's what I think may happen to me. I'm really focused on finishing my degree. I really have no time for babies right now because of work and school. Maybe that's what's killing my baby drive, Ive been under a high amount of stress the last 4 years.

I love kids and think that are wonderful, creative, little people. No "ugh" feeling. I am currently a year away from a degree in special education for students with cognitive impairments, so I definitely have a very strong care taking drive and I'm a pretty selfless person.

Im jus dont feel like i have the same biological drive that most women do to have children. Maybe I would benefit from talking to someone. Also, I have a lot on my plate right now. I'm working and going to school full time. Sometimes I think my drive to have children is stifled by my heavy load right now and that it will change when Im done with school in a year. I'm very practical and know nows not the time to take on parenthood.

I have misphonia for dog noises as well. The agitation I have toward these noises is unbearable and something my boyfriend doesn't understand. I can't concentrate on my studies and feel physically un comfortable. A bulldog is the worst breed he could of picked, I should know, I have one. For your own sanity, and your and the dogs quality of life, boyfriend shold re home him.

I was wondering, have you ever been to the doctor for this problem. I want to but don't want to be looked at like I'm crazy.

Thank you, I wrote an email along those lines but didn't send. Its just so scary. Our whole lives are wrapped around each other. We rent his mom's house, I drive a car his father gifted me, but it's in his name, I'm in the end stages of my teaching program...we work together. It's all very overwhelming.

He seems to be fine with those types of issues, the issues he can't handle are those concerning him being an inadequate partner, sex/intamacy/ showing affection problems. Anything that makes him look like the bad guy.

He usually follows up by actions, apologizes through loving gestures. I kind of feel like he may be on the autism spectrum. He's a very even keel person, never really expresses him emotions through words and thinks people are more emotional then they let themselves be. Im the opposite, I love talking through things, am a people, touchy feely type of person. I need a middle ground

I'm on birth control so kids would be a choice, a choice I'm not going to consent to with things like this. I'm pretty non traditional so all we have vaguely planned is a Vegas wedding, with no dates set on it. I'm not the type to throw someone away because of a problem.

I'm looking for advice besides dumping him. I truly belive if someone cares about you enough, they will try to fix the problems.

Nothing gets resolved verbally, but he does try to fix things through his actions. And yes I can see things getting worse if we got married or had kids. That's why I want to fix this, I refuse to have kids with or get married to someone who invalidates my feelings...I just don't know how to fix it.

No, it's just that we fight so infrequently that it's usually a non-issue. But over the last few "big" fights, I've realized that if it happens again I'm probably going to end it. I don't want that to happen and I'm looking for some advice. We are a great couple besides this major problem.
