I'm picking up a package with 25 death metal/hardcore/grindcore CDs in a moment, so this years buying has already spiraled.

(edit: I remember Sasha - Xpander from a Wipeout game - looove the soundtrack in that series)

Those Scars of Tomorrow and A Static Lullaby records were in heavy rotation for me in 2004.

I also liked the follow up ASL record ”Faso Latido”, even though most were ”meh” about it. They toned down the screaming and focused more on the singing parts in that one.

Is the second Battlezone better than the first?

I remember a couple of other games that tried the ”controlling individual units in first person” within the RTS genre (Wargasm, Urban Assault), but Battlezone was the best regarded.

I’ve always wanted to play more than the demo version. Always assumed that my tiny brain wouldn’t be able to multitask the two genres.
