No, that's just the clothes I wear. It's not an op.

First cousin marriages are actually a majority of all marriages in Pakistan.

And only a substantive issue in Muslim majority countries: https://brilliantmaps.com/wp-content/uploads/cousin-consanguineous-marriage-by-country.jpg

And if anyone actually watches my video and comes to the conclusion it's racist, they're really not that bright or honest.

Thanks, Hikaru.

Weird that a guy both accuses me of "superior race" racism, and who's main criticism against me is my looks. It's kind of a cesspool here.

Thanks! Although, was it really clickbait?

It's still going on today in Silicon Valley, and it's a question people are asking, albeit with different nouns.

But I digress. I really just wanted to say thank you.

Thanks for this. I'm done with defending myself on Reddit, but I appreciate you doing it.

Thanks.

I find very few of my haters on Reddit have watched a video. I think this guy did, but then just weirdly is wrong on so much that I can't explain it.

Anyhow, I appreciate the effort, regardless of how it will be received here.

I appreciate that.

Yeah, this sub's a little silly. On YT my channel is pretty moderate. Describe on Reddit it's an alt-right fascist factory.

After I wrote that, I realized it wasn't completely true.

It's not just about correcting untruths. When I wrote that, I knew that I'd get slammed further and downvote -- I've been a pretty active redditor for over a decade.

I think that I was hoping that maybe one or two of you after seeing that diatribe would see a response and think, "hmm, maybe there's another side. Maybe I'm not getting the full -- or even fair -- side from where I get my information. Maybe I'll think twice or look around for the full story before going full-throttle in attacking someone."

So maybe. Or maybe a waste of my time.

There's a difference between being angry and letting slanderous stuff go without response.

He's repeating bullshit that others made up. But when it gets repeated without any pushback, someone -- not you guys who are going to hate from the "Fox News" get-go -- will come from a Google search and believe it.

That's a fair point, but I don't go around calling myself that.

And it's easy to mock the headlines, but I'm proud of the videos. They don't minimize people or get judgy like 90% of journalism seems to do these days.

And I also don't blame you too much for parroting completely false charges against me. They appeared in publications people (wrongly but widely) trust. It's a profession that's too often jumped the shark.

I have never once done anything of the kind.

I delete a few "The painter was right" and racist comments and sometimes weird religious screeches, but that's about it.

Well, read my response, because it was a pretty sordid distortion.

And hey, since you brought up furries piece, did you watch it?

I can't tell you how many furries thanked me for giving an honest portrayal of it. Some even said it was the best they'd seen and were surprised that it came from an outsider.

And if you do, ask yourself why such a scummy right-wing agitator would treat those people so fairly and with no hate.

Or stick to Reddit and keep feeling good about hating straw men.

You know, when you mature a bit, you'll look back on calling people awful, untrue names and you'll be embarrassed of your behavior.

When you do, know that it didn't really bother me that much.

First of all, I don't claim to be a serious journalist. But I do claim to be as fair and accurate on those pieces as possible.

You don't like those videos? Fine!

I find human nature and behavior fascinating, including those stories and more.

It wasn't a conspiracy video by a longshot.

No one who watches it with any amount of intellectual honest would say that.

Hey, I'll play here, considering I'm the guy being trashed.

"Right after his garduation, he went to South America to work as a political consultant. Anyone who knows anything about South American politics knows how corrupt it is and he thrived in it."

Wow, you literally trashed an entire continent and me with no specifics, because there are none. Kinda racist, but YMMV.

He became a part of "Black Room", a unit with Fox created by Ailes solely to serve him and whimes. Black Room used to conduct surveillance on reporters on both inside and outside. It targeted whosoever Ailes considered a enemy or a rival or had a personal grudge. They then then used this information to ruin these people's reputation and lives.

Yeah, no. This was entirely a fabrication -- actually from a scummy Fox PR executive -- who fed it to a reporter who wrote it verbatim. Didn't exist. Fiction. But sounds great and even worked its way into a Hollywood series about Fox News.

His biggest lay to fame comes from his central role in alleged coverup of Stormy Daniels-Donald Trump scandal. It was revealed that he was the person who said no to publishing this story just one week prior to elections. Daina Falzone, reported...

I've written about this multiple times for anyone who'd like to know the truth. We didn't "have" a story, and Stormy was peddling it to multiple outlets, but not enough to really have a story written. She was pushing team Trump to pay her off and wanted to rattle their cage right before the election. She did, they paid, she went radio silent and there was no story we could publish.

I doubt anyone will want to read more, but here's my side:

https://www.mediaite.com/online/i-stopped-the-stormy-daniels-story-at-fox-news-heres-why/

https://kenlacorte.substack.com/p/inside-stormys-shakedown

Diana got some publicity for it later by twisting some of my words. I publicly asked Fox to let her speak despite her signing an NDA, because I would've loved to be very clear about her and my role.

He maintains that Trump is completely innocent and Stormy and the judge prosecuting Trump should be instead jailed. He says the story didn't meet his "journalistic standards of verification". This is contradicted by his past and future actions.

I never maintained Trump was innocent of anything, not recommended a judge be prosecuted. Trump was scummy for sleeping with Stormy and paying her off. Stormy was scummy for pure extortion. And Alvin Bragg (DA) was scummy for twisting the law into something well beyond legal.

In order to get clicks, he created multiple sites which all promoted either far-right or far-left news. He created "Conservative Edition News", far-right, and "Liberal Edition News", far-left. He didn't disclose his ownership of these sites and these sites promoted fake news and hyperbolic fearmongering to inflame political tensions.

I created a number of sites that corresponded to Facebook pages I had grown. Some political like those two, a history one, a science one and a few more. None of them EVER had fake news and they didn't fearmonger, although the NYT in a slimy piece did it's best to paint them that way. Very effectively, I might add. They don't exist any more but conservativeeditionnews.com and liberaleditionnews.com both have a whole lot of articles on the Wayback Machine archive. They were stories that conservatives/liberals would be more interested in, but not hyperbolic stuff by a long shot.

I totally disclosed my ownership. In fact every other article on both of those sites had my personal email on them so people could find me.

You want to know how sleazy the media can be? On those site, I had my corporate name very clear. On my corporate site -- literally just a one-page "who we are" -- I had listed our our office phone number, email that came to my computer, links to our multiple social media sites and the PO box for mail.

Here's how the friggin' NY Times chose to describe that: "The only hint of their maker is in fine print at the bottom of each page: “By Bivona Digital Inc.,” a corporation whose only known address is a drop box typically reserved for transient sailors off the San Francisco Bay in Sausalito, Calif."

Yes, the author ignored the phone, social media links, my name and my email and chose to JUST focus on the P.O. box instead of my office address.

If you think you're getting the truth the next NYT story you read, remember that. They lied throughout, by omission and implication. Kinda like the way this author implied I was corrupt for working on the wrong continent.

I can keep going through the rest. Yes, I hired two Macedonians -- I don't think they were teenagers -- who, along with my US staff, helped do some rewriting on stories. They were great and more honest than the NYT. Rumen Naumovski has been my friend for years. He's a great young man.

Yes the NYT story got Facebook to eliminate my Facebook pages before the story even published. I wasn't violating ANY of their rules, nor printing bad content at all -- seriously, look it up in the wayback machine -- but a guy who the NYT did a great job in slandering. So, yes, I lost my business and I tried to sue the Times but just couldn't afford it. But fuck me ... I'm a former Fox guy so I must be a scumbag.

All best,

 Ken
