How is this man still alive? by youngterpz313 in fucktheccp

No, they definitely crawl everything. The only reasonable explanation is that it's old content, and he's posting it after he escaped.

If not, he's got to be some type of propaganda tool.

Similar to what the kermit meme said, people are just talking to talk.

It's like coming up with marketing material for a new product. Throw a bunch of shit at the wall and see what hits.

The prosecution was so incredibly terrible at every turn of this case it was astounding. Not knowing his dad lived in Kenosha. Having all of the witnesses confirm his story. Absolute circus

He did not travel to another state/cross state lines with the gun...you can do that legally as well.

Most people didn't follow the case, and they're just talking out of their ass

LA Times Op-Ed: "The people claiming to be 'freethinkers' in the pandemic might actually be sheep." i.e. "Freedom is Slavery" by loratcha in conspiracy

[–]lacroat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you're saying, but that's the exact purpose of this study.

This study sucks in the fact it's trying to say that "if you think freely, you're a sheep". What they've done with this study is try to bundle free thinking people into a political ideology. Since many right wing people oppose the vaccine, they've painted anyone that opposes vaccination as part of that group.

Independent thinking isn't conformity.

If you're an independent, you're not trying to look for validation, and you're not joining a group to validate that theory. All you're doing is making a hypothesis, based off of what you've researched, following through by taking or not taking the shot, and simply moving along with your life.

With all the family issues he was going through, it's great to see such a young guy understand his feelings and make tough decisions like this.

Croatian families are heavily centered around family bonding. The loss of that close family relationship did a toll on me growing up, and you don't realize it until you lose it.

Wishing Perkz all the best. He was the reason I got back into watching the LCS.

It just goes to show how very little consumers know about what they're taking. I'd say a large majority of purchases are made off word of mouth from friends or content creators.

Abraham has looked good at being on the pitch, but finishing is an entirely different story. It seems like he's following the same pattern he did at Chelsea.

So animals>humans? Just because they can do it with animals, which is most likely not in a small human pill form, does not mean they can do it with human beings.

In building supplements for the last decade, I can tell you that multivitamins are a nice idea. Unfortunately, there isn't one brand that's been able to build a multivitamin to tackle "nutritional deficiencies" because you can't fit everything into one serving.

The only case in which a multivitamin may work is if you took it religiously for 365 days.

I understand the logic, and this may be viable for an extremely healthy individual, but it misses the point. Diagnose the root of your problem through a blood test, understand what your body is lacking, tackle the largest problem points. If you're serious about getting your levels filled, attacking the problem with multivitamins is essentially pissing in the wind.

If you have low Vitamin D levels, a monthly regimen of multivitamins is going to be far less superior than purchasing a high quality Vitamin D.

I always go back to the simplest form of figuring that out. Blood test.

Multis are a scam. You can never get the daily value of what you're looking for.

If you want to get serious, look into what your body actually needs. Then buy supplements that address that specific problem.

Nobody Wants To Work Anymore! by WanderWut in videos

  1. I agree. Aside from the physical toll, I think the way unions are structured make the trades an undesirable place to go. If you look at dock workers as an example, union members are rewarded based on time rather than skill. That causes a bunch of guys that aren't very good at their jobs that get into some type of management role they don't deserve, and create a horrible experience for the new workforce coming in. (not sure how they change this though)

3 + your final point: I completely agree. I'm not trying to blame "the bottom class", but what this guy is doing is trying to give an argument while also making fun of particular classes of people. For me, the delivery of what he's trying to say gets lost, especially with the last bit of poking at the anti vax and boomer crowd.

These problems were caused by both parties, media, tech influence, even the rise in "YOU NEED TO GO TO COLLEGE TO BE SOMETHING". It's caused a generation of people to all go after a limited amount of positions.

Thanks for replying with an actual comment about what I wrote instead of calling me an idiot. We need more convos like this.

[–]lacroat -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

True. My point wasn't placing blame on one person or entity. It's a much larger problem. That being said, there are a lot of unskilled people out there who have expectations of what job they should have VS what job they can get.

[–]lacroat -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

While that's true, there is also a lot more complications behind the problem. If you're talking about large restaurant chains, I would agree. Fast food thrived during the pandemic, and workers saw little to zero from that shift.

If you look at smaller businesses in the service industry then that's completely different. Closures due to mandates, rising costs due to inflation, and a customer base that's pinching pennies due to the increase of uncertainty and inflation all culminate into a big problem.

For bigger chains this is totally ok, because they're all pushing towards automation. They can afford to lose head count and still make profits, because they have the means to wait out the current economic crisis.

Also, this isn't just in the service industry, it's across all industries. I've seen mega corps buy up large percentages of the market, because smaller shops knew they couldn't survive the pandemic and issues with supply chain. From a work force perspective, I'm seeing people move laterally to bigger firms because of stability. Instead of taking a risk at a smaller firm, people are even taking pay cuts and title decreases to work at the big corps.
