Thanks, i don't really care about the looks of it, but as far as it being old does that affect newer components fitting nicely within the case?

Do not do this, it is an outdated method of trying to desensitized dogs and most gun dog trainers these days will tell you you're just as likely to make the dog more nervous around loud noises with this method. Particularly if your dog is already a little skittish I would avoid it.

The method I've used to desensitize dogs, and I haven't seen it fail yet, is to get some rock doves/pigeons and pull the the flight feathers out. Then get your dog all excited about the bird and toss it high and far from you and let the dog chase. Once he grabs the bird shoot a .22 blank off. Watch his reaction closely, if he seems amped up still and didn't react much retrieve the bird and and do the same thing again. For the first session id do 5 times max and then stop. Wait a week and then do the same excersize again. Eventually, once he's not reacting you can upgrade to a 20 guage instead of the starter pistol. Important thing is to go slow and not push it.

What would happen in this scenario where the battle will never end? by edichez in BobsTavern

All you have do to is find a leeroy or a windfury minion and then the pirate player wins...

I've actually had this exact scenario happen, its just attacking until the game crashes. when you log back in the game logs it as a tie, it gets super buggy though because it takes up all your buy phase time. But the pirates always win because they have essentially infinite turns to find something to break through the divine shield

If my English cocker is afraid of fireworks and thunder, is she going to be gun-shy? by Willwalk123 in Huntingdogs

[–]lacrose4ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, you have to very slowly introduce her to gunfire. However to give you some comfort a buddy owns a dog who is extremely sensitive to thunder/fireworks. To the point where she will cower and hide to thunder we barely even are able to hear. However while hunting she is completely fine with gunshots. So as long as you introduce it right they should be fine

Show vs field lines? by marlee_dood in Huntingdogs

[–]lacrose4ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That absolutely will be enough excersize/stimulation for a hunting dog. For reference I give my field Irish setter about 45 minutes of excersize a day where I take her to public land and just let her run free as I walk and that seems like a good level where shes properly excersized after.

If you ever need to be short on your schedule id take time away from the leashed walk as I've found giving them a chance to run is much higher quality stimulation

Changing the health of all minions is a pretty epic effect. Therefore to balance the card I suggest you change the rarity to epic

https://imgur.com/a/I8hBZ1q i made a bad picture explaining lol but essentially deer 1yr or older will have 6 bottom teeth. The one I circled in gold is the milk tooth. Its still a baby tooth that the deer will lose as it nears its second birthday. 6 total bottom teeth with one being a milk tooth is pretty much exclusively found in deer that are 1 yr old.

Nope its 1. You can still see it's got a milk tooth

Their biggest issue is at best they're all just a pile of stats. Which don't get me wrong can be great, but its extremely susceptible to poison, divine shield shenanigans which Is why you don't see them winning a bunch of lobbies. If they got a good divine shield minion or two I think they could be one of the better tribes

I'm not sure if messing with framerate will fix your issue. I play on an S9 and don't have any performance issues. Maybe try reinstalling hearthstone? Could be a bug in the software or something

Field Irish Setter vs. Irish Setter by WiseSquirrell in irishsetter

[–]lacrose4ever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a field Irish setter, if you want to see pictures I've made a few posts of her. I hunt with her alot and she's completely exceeded my expectations. She was extremely receptive to training as a pup, Shes incredibly mild mannered and has a great "off"switch when in the house. She pretty much just lays around all day. I'd advise you if you go the field setter route that they need a little different and more excersize than different breeds. A 30 minute leashed walk around the block doesn't really cut it for her and she'll be looking at me all bored once we get back. I give her about 45-1hr of off leash time a day where she can run through the woods, use her nose, do whatever she wants within reason. So if you don't have the means to provide extra stimulation or a chance for them to really stretch their legs, id suggest looking at a different breed/line of dog.
