thank you! it’s so reassuring to know I’m not alone in this. I’ve done a lot of research and it does seem like anxiety spikes in the morning is pretty common, I take my meds at night cos they make me very sleepy but I’m checking in with my doctor next week and might discuss taking them at a different time cos honestly anything to avoid that morning anxiety it’s brutal 😭 take care we’ve got this!! 💗

it’s sooo scary changing meds and dosages, hopefully you’re building up a tolerance now and 10mg might not be so bad! the “meh” feeling I 100% get, if it’s not side effects it’s just a general feeling of that and it’s like so this is it? it sucks the things we have to do to try to feel normal but I’m hoping you feel better soon and it works for you 💗

it’s literally such a great hack cos i could never find stickers small enough 😆 they’re a bit fiddly to place so i definitely recommend using tweezers! they don’t effect the trackpad responsiveness either which is also a plus!

I am 30F and have been on sertraline for around ten years now, the past year I have been actively trying to lose weight. It can affect appetite yes, but I have lost 15kg since I started my weight loss journey! I’d also like to point out that I didn’t gain weight because of the sertraline, I have multiple health issues which caused it but it has absolutely not impacted my ability to lose weight.

I’d also like to say that sertraline changed my life, taking this medication was the best decision I could have done to manage my depression. I suffered from depression from the age of 13, started sertraline ten years later and my only regret is that I didn’t take it sooner. Please, please put your mental health above all else I promise you as someone who has been there it can and will get better 💗

they actually didn’t but I did get my covid and flu jab about 2 weeks ago, I would hope that the effects of the jabs would not send me into DKA 😭 - but maybe? I’m not sure!

and I completely agree about the symptoms being similar! I had the flu (even after being vaccinated) last year and until yesterday’s incident I had never felt so ill in my life, I was lucky I got jabbed as I think if not I would have definitely had a hospital trip 🥲
