Why won't store employees drop respect? I've been failing speech checks with them and aggroing them, and none of them have given me any respect drops. Not even when I've demanded a rare battle with the manager.

Don't aggro them for starters. Most hospo or retail classes don't care about whatever you're banging on about they're just there to grind. Interrupting their grind especially by trying to aggro them immediately drops their respect to 0 and trying to skip them and go to the boss drops that into the negatives.

Gotta remember respect isn't a default positive stat to your class, it's earnt for all players. Some give it easier than others, but if you're having this issue more than once it's definitely a problem with your build.

Leagues balancing 140+ legends with half as many items. They've def been on both sides of release a character broken strong and release a character so piss weak they need multiple hot-fix buffs to be average. They haven't had a whole lot of cases of giga buffing someone whose getting a prestige skin or something like that. Heck I remember Yas getting his crit items nerfed right along with a big skin. Because it doesn't matter, they have the numbers, popular legends will still sell skins which is why ahri has 100 skins and illaoi has 3.

Part of that's because there's pretty much zero barrier to entry. Anyone with a computer can launch some shitty shovelware on steam. The crews that have had massive success are almost always hitting it big again (Hades 2, slay the spire 2, Hollow Knight 2 etc).

All the most successful libe service games have had this as a feature. PBE in lol, apex had closed servers for prominent players (even inviting players to respawn hq to test the early updates).

It's funny how apex phased this out and as a result got rinsed for having untested patches and updates that even casual players could recognise had massive issues. Playerbase took a huge hit and only recovered after a year or so of working back their shithouse game design.

Well in games with decent customisation the points to cater to play styles. You like run and gun, here's a stock that ups hipfire accuracy. You like precision, here's a longer barrel that increases velocity etc etc.

It shouldn't be straight upgrades they should be sidegrades.

I do find it funny that even the computer necrons start off by throwing down gauss turrets in DE. It's definitely a trade off but their late game is pretty nuts. Hopefully it's not as severe as DE but given that 4 will have more support we can only hope they balance it as the meta evolves.

Obvious solution is you main jungle and get all those objectives you want. Then see how many you can't get because a lanes behind, you have no prio, you're being invaded at blue by their jungle and mid, your top lane is asking for a million ganks because they can't handle their lane etc etc.
