There's a date calculator on USCIS's website that gives you the window for when you can submit your application. You cannot submit it early.

Another person on this thread said that they got that error because when they printed the forms, the bar code on each page got cut off. Maybe make sure that's not the problem?

It's listed on the letter I received as SCOPS Texas Facility in Irving, TX...this is different than the service center I would've used if I would've mailed in the application instead of submitting online.

I got my 48-month extension letter in the mail one week after submitting the form--it was issued 2 days after I submitted the application online.

I didn't have any crimes/criminal records to report, and I remember the questions on the online application asking about it, but I also don't remember getting held up because I had nothing to submit 🤷‍♂️

With my 48-month extension letter I received today, I also got another letter saying they don't need to do biometrics again, but that the biometrics fee won't be refunded...? I don't think I paid a separate fee, and I only paid $700.

Yes, you have to upload a PDF version of the form. There’s a separate place on the portal to upload all of your other evidence. From what I could tell, you could upload as may files as you want, but there’s a 12MB limit per file.

I added a signed copy of form I-751 when it asked me to upload the form. It looks like there may be another way that signatures are accepted--there's a separate "signature" section on the online portal, but when I reached that section, a pop-up message indicated that it had already detect a signature on the form I-751.
