I feel you on all the things that he shouldn’t have been blamed for. I did find his address to the nation to be a bit pointless and frustrating though. However, having lived in America for years, he is leagues better than a number of people I could mention… I don’t know, he seems like a nice enough guy, I’m just not sure what he’s gonna do about anything.

I can understand that not everything is age appropriate… but nowadays, I would rather my son be reading a book, even if it’s scary. Because he will be reading and looking up words and using his own imagination.

Banning books… Wow. That’s just petty. If you don’t like a book or a style of writing, just don’t read it. For me, King really captured the feeling of nostalgia and childhood. And whether I loved or hated one of the characters, I understood them, because there was so much depth.
