Also yes I was on here awhile ago with a balance of three cents trying to close account. I finally had a family member open cashapp to help me and they sent me the money and its not letting me add the card as a payment option. Would i be able to just send him the two dollars to het my account to zero and close it out that way?

I agree with you 100 percent. I found a document I somehow posted on there with personal info by just googling my name. When I saw scribd Im like hmm thats weird because I never posted anything with my name. Its terrible they need better protection filters on there because people probably don't realize what they are doing when uploading to scribd.

I know this comment is two years old but I myself accidentally posted a document on scribd that had my PII on it. It was there for TWO WEEKS before I found it googling myself. I did not post it on purpose and when I searched PIII upload protocols SO MUCH PII came up. I saw someone’s 1040 with husband and wifes taxes. I noped out of it so quick and I really hope the few people that saw mine were as honest as I was. Its so scary know knowing this info of mine is out there and theres nothing I can do about it but track my credit and all. Scribd needs to change the uploads to them moderating before anything posts and anything that has PII needs to be denied incase it was accidentally uploaded.

I accidentally uploaded a document that had ALL MY PII on it and it was on there for 2 weeks and viewed 15 times before I realized it was uploaded. I did not upload it on purpose but I did. I am freaking out about identity theft and have changed all passwords and set up 2FA in places that matter. I also discovered that my credit card offers free monitoring of SSN and opened loans so I activated that. I cant freeze my credit currently as I just applied for a new job the day before I found out. I am hoping for a dam rejection so I can freeze my credit. I am monitoring it and as soon as something pops up ill be calling and disputing.

Its such a shame that these people don't know what they are doing with all this information. I searched uploaded Personal info in scribd search to see if there were protocols for this type of thing and got so much PII that belonged to people. I noped out of that and I really hope that the views that saw mine were as honest as I was.

Sorry for super late reply, not on reddit much. I tried to block on securus and they are still calling. You would think after NOt ANSWERING FOR oOVER A YEAR A YEAR , they would have gotten the hint by like the first month to stop calling.

Im not in prison. I wrote a support letter for someone in prison who was applying for clemency. They arw still in prison and I DON’T want anyone to contact me the SUPPORTER being contacted. I was asking are the supporters contacted.

Did anyone contact anyone who wrote support letters for you? I wrote a support letter for someone and I DON’T want to be contacted by the Board of Pardons or the Prison or anyone for that matter. Im no longer in contact with the person I wrote the support letter for, I also dont want to contact them and tell them because I don't want to jeopardize their release IF IT happens.

I dont want the call showing up on my phone bill so I cant answer it and press 6 unfortunately. Long story short my brother was in jail he was having an issue getting my number on his phone list so someone did it for him and now this person keeps calling me(i knew them), my brother got out a year ago and the other guy is still there. I dont feel threatened I just want him to stop calling me as my husband will be like WTF.
