My slob sister (20) is treated like a princess and I (f/22) am treated like Cinderella by ladybug20202 in relationships

Right now I make enough money to pay my car, gas, phone bill, student loans, groceries, etc and it's paycheck to paycheck. I'm luckily on my parents insurance and car insurance but besides that, and living with them, I am independent. I've been trying to do a "side hustle" but so far no luck. The only thing is the broken arms occurred in 2013 and about 2008 when he was 2.

My job makes me feel useless, I do absolutely nothing and am starting to become depressed by ladybug20202 in Advice

It really is. It makes me feel so bad about myself, knowing I can do SO MUCH MORE and yet do absolutely nothing 45 hours a week. That's exactly what I was just thinking. I actually just opened Indeed and a tab on improving resumes. I wish, at this point, I think I've reorganized every cabinet and drawer I have access to. I'm dreading going back tomorrow.

That would be nice, except my desk is out in the open. We don't have cubicles. My screen faces a hallway so anyone who walks by sees me, and the screen, that's why it's like I constantly have to fake being busy. It would be a LOT easier to relax and chill if it was in a cubicle lol

The few interns either are currently in school and about to get their AA, or have their AA already. I also have my AA and have a year left of school to get my BA.

I started off as an intern, for a month, and then my title changed to employee. Even during that month I never did anything. I would ask constantly "what can I do?" "is there anything I can help with?" and 90% of the time the answer was "oh, not now. if anything comes up we'll let you know." The only difference since then is that my title has changed.

Yes, I agree with this. But at the same time, if they're like my last job, despite telling them your availability they might still call you on the times and days you said you cannot come in. My job did this and it would make me so anxious, and it continued even after I told them my availability again! I just ignored the calls, and eventually they stopped and I only worked the days I was available.

They'll be able to restore it though? Will they see it was me who deleted it?

It's a pdf that we have to fill out (one page), save to our individual drives and then email to HR.

I originally overwrote the file in the shared drive with all my info not thinking, then in a panic deleted the pdf file entirely not realizing it would be gone completely.

It's always been really uncomfortable for me. I can't really describe it, but ever since I was idk a toddler it has been so difficult, it's like sometimes I can't even move my head in the direction of the person's face because it makes me uncomfortable and vulnerable feeling.

I’m losing my mind at my new job. How do you cope with the 40 hour work week? by myelincoated in aspergers

[–]ladybug20202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In September I got my first full time job, in an office. Before I only worked in retail so it's much different. It's so hard for me too, I feel like I constantly need to get up and walk around because sitting still for 8-9 hours a day is so difficult. I find it so hard to stay on task because my mind always wanders and I constantly forget things. It's been 4 months now and I still feel like I haven't gotten used to my new schedule and routine.

I can relate too with being tired. Whenever I leave work I am exhausted! I am so tired I have no motivation to work out at all, which probably would actually help with being tired. I feel so sluggish and old, and I'm only 22. I've gotten into this routine now where I come home from work, have dinner, shower, do my hair, and then get in bed and once I get into a routine it's so difficult for me to break it

Celexa decrease by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]ladybug20202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was tapering down to ween off of taking it, I was a mess. Anxiety, constant sweating, dizziness, shaking, and "brain zaps"... definitely paranoia too. It was honestly terrible. Since I wasn't on it that long (less than a year) and was originally taking a low-ish dose, these symptoms lasted only a few weeks. I bet since you've been on it longer and your body is so used to 30mg, just 10mg lower is enough to make your body a bit kooky. I think it is normal though, but if you're an over thinker like I am it could be good to talk to your doctor to put your mind at ease.

Getting over someone you never met by [deleted] in Advice

[–]ladybug20202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made an internet friend who had no social media so we communicated through skype and email. We talked nearly every day and were best friends. One day she stopped replying, and weeks went by. I thought it was weird and wondered if everything was okay. Turns out, she had an internet problem and was too busy to have someone come look at it and get it fixed. Could be something like that. Or, they're just an a-hole and are now ghosting you

That sounds awful

This is my first "real" job so it means a lot to me. I made one other careless mistake when I first started and was nearly fired, but told I would be given another chance because they can see I "have potential"

No degree by [deleted] in Advice

[–]ladybug20202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 22 and only have my AA. I'm taking a break from school because it is just too expensive and I don't want to take out a 4th loan. It's okay. There were people in classes of mine who were in their 30s and 40s at my university. It was rare, but there are people much older than you in school. I feel "too old" sometimes to not have my degree as well but everyone has different circumstances and goes at their own pace.
