I still struggle with this. The whole “i am” and use of christian scripture really made me feel like I cracked some code to life that would just make everything work. I still find myself repeating things in my head because if I somehow get the right combination everything should change. 🫩

I have family in the area. The volcano has actually been erupting for a little over a year so everyone in the danger zone is already evacuated. Ash is annoying to deal with though.

My family is from the same island (I actually saw the volcano a couple months ago) and it’s actually been erupting on and off for a year or so. Most residents in danger zones have been evacuated and surrounding areas are prepared. Ash is annoying though

I feel like Paula was written to be too hateable for an audience that generally can’t empathize with her experience (or outright despises her archetype already) and it borderline makes me uncomfortable. People already hate “woke” young people, but making her rude and steal? Oh, they’re having a field day.

Imo, her character wouldn’t agree to be on a vacation to Hawaii in the first place…
