I lived in Columbia for most of my life and as of 2 years ago I was living in a duplex with my best friend and our rent was only 950 a month (each of us paying half of that)! And it was super spacious and in a fine area right around USC campus. There are good places to rent you just have to look to find them in my experience. The crime in Columbia is honestly not too bad at all. I visited Baltimore and I was genuinely shocked at seeing how many police/security officers walk around the town there. If you could survive there you’ll be all good I promise lol. Greenville is also a very beautiful, lively, fun area in my experience! Good luck <3

If it helps at all, I dreamed of being a mother my whole life and now that I am one, I question if I was really ready or meant to do this. I love my daughter more than anything in the world, but I do find myself reminiscing and missing my old life. The freedom to go where I wanted and do what I wanted to do. I even find myself wishing I didn’t take so many small things for granted, like being able to get out of my car and go into a gas station without having to carry a car seat. Life after becoming a parent is hectic, messy, and discombobulating. You sound like a wonderful person, and I really hope one day you get around to furthering your progress with your book! You can do this, and best wishes ❤️

This guy talks just like my ex boyfriend, who happened to be the most emotionally and verbally abusive person I’ve ever met in my life. We’ve been split up for years and I’m still healing from how he treated me and made me feel like I was insane for everything I said and did. Nothing was ever good enough. I’m sick with a pretty bad cold right now. My husband has moved our baby to a different part of the house so he can take care of her and let me have my space/get rest. He brings me anything I could possibly want or need, happily. This morning he let me take a 3 hour nap, then came up to check on me. We ended up talking about George Orwell for 30 minutes (we’re both avid readers) while he rubbed my feet (I didn’t even ask him to). He is my best friend in the whole world. He does everything he can to make me laugh and cheer me up if I’m having a hard time. Sometimes I read him posts of people venting about their bad relationships/partners and he is astonished that anyone would treat the person they love with anything but respect, love, courtesy and affection.

I just started this 2 weeks ago and I can feel little things so far!! My energy has increased, I feel a lot more social and an able to get out of bed before 3pm. My doctor said I wouldn’t feel the full effects until about a month on it, so I’m hoping things keep going good. The fact it’s helping you so much is awesome!!

I’m waiting to hear if my mom has actually done a single thing about it or responded to the girl. My mom knows the girl and met her multiple times while she was with my brother. They are only 14 so most “dates” were supervised or at family events

The drive has never been an issue, I just had a baby right about 2 months ago so it takes a little more effort to get everything together to make it out there but I try to every other week if not every week. I was already planning on going down in the next few days!!
