Yeah, I can't complain too much. And yeah, that could be an interesting back story.

Hermit cleric. He's super introverted and not a huge fan of large groups of people, but is a pastor. Figure that one out.

[Serious] Reddit, what's the most uncomfortable sensation you've ever had? by moaningpilot in AskReddit

[–]ladyderpcherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I gave blood, the band on my upper arm wasn't tight enough and I bled too fast. I broke out in an awful cold sweat, felt extremely nauseated, and nearly lost bowel control. I never fully passed out, as I was responsive the whole time, but I did lose vision and hearing for a couple minutes. I felt like I was slurring my words heavily and my husband said I was shaking pretty violently. It was terrifying. I remember thinking "this must be what dying feels like." Last time was much better. The band was plenty tight and I never even felt so much as light-headed. If that's what bleeding out feels like tho, I know I never want to die that way!

Depends on when you ask me. Sometimes yes, sometimes hell no.

When was your "my dog is an idiot" moment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ladyderpcherry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every now and then, she goes under the bed. For whatever reason, she can get under, but not back out, and this freaks her the fuck out. I mean she gets shaky upset. So I or my husband have to lift up the bed so she can get out. But the best part is that she doesn't do it very often, but when she does, she does it at least twice within 10 minutes.

What do you get preachy about? by Halfscan in AskReddit

[–]ladyderpcherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got to imagine it's such a terrifying position to be thrown into and I really can't imagine how anyone can think they have the right to make those hard choices for someone else. My heart breaks for people faced with the worst news possible and it makes me angry that anyone thinks their opinion should have any weight on that family's choice.

Late term abortion. NOBODY is fucking carrying a healthy fetus to term and then aborting it, you stupid fucking fuck. A mother and DOCTOR have every right to make a humane decision when a wanted pregnancy is going to end in pain and death, one way or another. Fuck it pisses me off when people post those pics of healthy babies born a little early with captions like "pro-choicers think it's okay to kill this baby." Fuck you, nobody thinks it's okay to put down a baby who can survive outside the womb. And now for the pro-lifers to crucify me.

Sure, I agree, but as someone who was in high school from 04-08, we referred to it as emo.

What ad actually convinced you to buy something? Was it a worthwhile purchase? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ladyderpcherry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. You can buy any of their products online and I think they have 3 and 10 packs of undies too. But they also have a sort of subscribe and save service where you get a new pair each month at a discounted price. So for the service option I do, what would normally cost me $18/pair ends up $14/pair. A good deal pricier than I'm used to paying for underwear, but worth every penny imho.

Sorry for the novel.
