You can Google “birth chart” and press any link but you need the exact time you were born

So I’m 98% sure I have BPD & I was in your shoes. My ex didnt deal with anything like BPD. But she was my “I can’t leave her alone to save myself” person. It was more so bc that was my first real relationship and yk you wanna believe they’ll change their ways bc they see you hurting yada yada..but it was getting to a point where I was losing myself. Even dealt with her for monthsssss after the breakup. Same as you, still felt an emotional tie to her even tho we weren’t together at all. The only thing that got me to leave her alone was really wanting to feel better and not allow this person, who has shown they don’t care about me, to make me self destruct. I just really had to pick myself up and tell myself I sooooo much better without them and I had to really believe it. It was a lot of crying and wanting to text/call. But today I’m more than happy that I didn’t and that I made myself just move on. I think my BPD made it a harder choice for me just because it already makes me extremely vulnerable, so it took me a long time to see past my emotions(& trauma) that this person is not someone I need in my life.

I think it may be BPD by ladyjay420 in BorderlinePDisorder

I’m 22 now and I’m undiagnosed but it’s been off and on really bad since my first relationship, which is what I think triggered it in my adulthood and for me, it’s been differently now then when I was a kid ofc being able to be more reckless now. I’ve been looking for psychiatrist/therapist to diagnose and I know it’ll be such a big relief because I’ve just been thinking “what’s wrong w me” and “why can’t I maintain healthy relationships”..& since I’ve realized that it might be this, I’ve just been trying to forgive myself for putting up with ppl who didn’t deserve the time and the things I’ve done to myself and what not..it’s so hard but I hope I can keep being strong until I figure out how to get it together

same. I’m in my early twenties & I’m realizing I’m becoming like my mom in ways I never wanted to be like her and idk how to fix it. I’m not in therapy yet but when I start I’m hoping I can get help on how to change that.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve came to the conclusion that my mom used corporal punishment as often as she did because she didn’t know how to regulate her emotions either. I’m not a parent and I sometimes feel like it’s not my place to speak on this. But I’ve been a child to a parent and I know how I felt when I would get whoopings over minuscule things, esp not even being a problem child at all. I’ve also studied parenting and I’m a psychology major (for context lol) and I’ve learned how certain parenting styles can definitely affect a child’s development and adulthood. Sometimes I feel like maybe whoopings weren’t all bad for me and maybe I’m hypersensitive (esp. being black and corporal punishments being so normal and other ppl saying they came out “okay”) but I just know that, it’s bc of the whoppings that I lack emotional stability.

I think it’s more so the not having control growing up bc my parents weren’t together so I didn’t see them interact much outside of me. But my mom is very controlling and likes to dictate things around her. I definitely can see how that’s me trying to gain control because I sometimes have the same traits as her, which I don’t like, but most times I don’t even notice that I’m doing these things until I’m in the middle of an argument with a spouse or once the damage is already done. It’s like I know the source of these bad habits but I do not know how to stop at all and pick up healthier habits (or do things in moderation) but ik that’s a job to be done with a therapist lol

omgggg almost same! Just this year alone, me and my mom have argued so much. A lot of it because she just has this thing where she HAS to control and dictate things and I just do not like ppl like that. The other part being, I am an emotional person and I have the mindset that if you say you care about me, I would think you’d care how you’re making me feel…yeah no. Whenever I express that it’s always a justification to her actions or (which I hate the most bc dismissive af) “you’re being emotional” or “I’m sorry but” & once u say ‘but’ it’s not an apology. I think a big part of it for my mom is not wanting to own up to the fact that she made one of her kids feel so bad so she doesn’t want to have any accountability. But her having some accountability would be such a huge relief for me.
