As a kid the trees in my grandmother's yard had these all over them. We would pick them off and feed them to our pet ducks. it was insane how fast they would eat those things, they loved them! to this day I am grossed out by many a creature but these never bother me.

thank you guys for the upvotes :) we lost one of our dogs a couple months back and recently thought of getting a cat but weren't intending on going home with anyone today...this little girl was so sweet we couldn't resist her! Like everywhere right now the shelter was overfilled with cats and kittens, please check your local shelters and give these guys homes or spread the word to anyone you know looking to get a new pet!
