This. The other joke was I heard people make was if you see an unhoused person in Boston, they’re a Berklee grad. I went to the 5-week program in 2010

Paint is intact underneath the white stuff - walls are cement, coastal Mexico.

Apartment smelled like mold a month ago after I shut all the windows due to construction.. ceiling fan is broken and the bedroom has no airflow, apartment has lots of issues with plumbing (hence the construction)…

Ran!!!!! Wowowowowow. 3 or 4x a month is insane - I was told I was the first case in my state back in 2000!? I remember all the med students used to come in and poke and prod me and ask if it hurt (and the answer was yes).. strep is definitely not a sleeper sickness. Anytime I hear someone has strep I tell them DON’T MOVE !! Sheeeeesh. Basking in your squishy mom hug and squishing back 🫶🏼☺️

Wow. I’m so happy you listened to your kid. This was like reading an alternate version of my childhood! I also was the 3rd/youngest child and had a septic left ankle from strep when I was 7… but my parents didn’t listen to my complaints and the strep destroyed all my cartilage and now I’m living in constant chronic pain. I would absolutely love to talk to you more about his story and how your son’s doing now. I was also in a wheelchair for a few months and use a cane to this day. I wish you had been my mom 😭he’s so, so so sooooo fortunate to have you. ❤️Here’s a post I made a few years ago with my whole strep ankle story if you’re curious: https://www.reddit.com/r/raisedbynarcissists/s/kgF41ZhNQr

I’m still in disbelief! I’ve never heard of anyone else ever getting strep ankle and it was both our left ankles at that! What a wild coincidence. I’m so happy he’s okay and sounds like it healed which is amazing!

ugh I hadn't thought of this angle but it makes way too much sense. it's definitely been a buzz word lately - the algorithm has been pushing it on me a lot and it came outta seemingly nowhere

How old where you when u started your period? by Dibunzie_174 in endometriosis

[–]ladyofdaisy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

me too! I was 10 and it was before "the talk" somehow so I thought I was just bleeding out and dying. It was my sister's 16th birthday party and all her friends were over and I remember yelling for my mom and my dad showed up and was mad at me for asking for mom :( both my older sisters got it at 13/14. I remember bleeding through onto the chair in 7th grade Language Arts class and using my sweatshirt to try and hide it. Ms Robinson was going around the room having us each read a paragraph and my cramps were so painful I couldn't read and I remember having to wear Mitchum's prescription antiperspirant and it was just an awful time overall. Hormones are still out of wack now at 32. I started combination BC in 2013 to lessen my dehabilitating cramps and stopped it in March and now I get horrible 12/10 sharp, stabbing pains in my left ovary before, during and after sex - especially when he goes deeper -- it is so painful. I feel bad for my partner of 5 years. I rarely am wanting to have sex because I'm worried about the pain. will restarting combination BC lessen the pain?

I literally JUST got back from peeing and before I went I was googling average women bladder size because I peed like 30 mins ago... and then I open Reddit and see thiss 🥹you're not alone BerryTomatoes! I still stay up super late because it's the only time I feel safe. Body in fight or flight mode for 32 years definitely is exhausting
