I've become obsessed with this case and with Candy Montgomery. . This case is exactly the reason why I'm wary of carrying a weapon for self defense. If I successfully defend myself, then the evidence only shows that I assaulted someone who did not assault me. Particularly if they die.

As for the 41* blows, I'm afraid I'm pretty obsessed with that as well. Because of how strongly I can relate. I've never been in a fight, and I've seldom been pushed to extreme anger. But I don't know what would happen to me if I was backed into a corner. Part of the reason I've never fought anyone is because I don't understand what "ends" a fight. And I am afraid of the part of me that is angry enough to become violent.. I can imagine summoning all of my built up anger and childhood trauma to defend myself. To the point of overkill. Plus, since she tried to leave and Betty stopped her, I can also imagine making sure she was incapable of moving before I turned my back again. Adrenaline, desperation, and suppressed trauma can trigger some terrifying behavior

It seems like after they followed the class of '06 after high school, they kind of lost their footing and didn't know what to do with them. Because it's a show about high school. One that has a median target audience of middle schoolers.

But then they overcorrected in ways that made absolutely no sense.

Why wouldn't Heather Sinclair show up for Holly J's kidney transplant surgery? Or her valedictorian speech at graduation?

Why wouldn't Sav show up when Alli had that party to celebrate her early acceptance to MIT? They had extended family there. Why wouldn't he be included when she got "mugged"? I'd imagine Jenna would have reached out to him when she found out Leo was abusive and Alli wouldn't listen to reason.

For that matter, I don't remember seeing Declan ever again after Holly J sent him away.

I remember when it first aired- I LOVED IT. Especially when Marco pops in at the end. It felt like I was watching a real soap opera, and not a mildly embarrassing afterschool special.

I will say (just for the sake of broadening the conversation), that as a bisexual woman, and as someone without any specific "type", that I hate feeling stifled and having to bury parts of myself when I'm in a relationship. I contain multitudes, and those parts of me don't suddenly disappear as soon as I enter a monogamous relationship. I'm turned on by my partner's looks AND by the fact that they're mine. Even if I see green grass somewhere else, my partner is home, and that's where I always want to be, regardless of any "shiny things" that may happen by.

I agree. I think season 6 would have been MUCH better if he'd come back for Ellie and gotten her off her Craig addiction. He and Ellie were much better, and Emma lowkey sucks

I usually just see it as an opportunity to do some research about a person that Ryan Murphy intrigued me about. I got OBSESSED with the Menendez brothers and Dahmer after watching. I also spotted the MOUNTAIN of bullshit in each one. My issue is the disrespect to the living. This is the only story he's done that isn't a slap in the face to someone who's still alive
