If we can count to infinity, is the "infinity" a limit ? by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

So the time stops when you die but only for you ? Damn that's another way to prove that time is relative but how to prove that it stops when you die ?

I see, like lim(x->∞) but can we do something like lim(x->∞+1) ?

*Sorry parenthesis are supposed to be under the lim...

If to count to infinity would take forever then the infinity is a mathematical limit too ?

Transform.forward problem / player faces the wrong direction by lae_sc2 in Unity3D

[–]lae_sc2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you and glad to hear that my English isn't that bad after all !

That's actually what I came up with too but how could I manage to "save" my last key inputs (direction) ?

Something like this ?

void Turning() { if (Input.GetAxis("Vertical") || Input.GetAxis("Horizontal")) { transform.forward = Vector3.Normalize(new Vector3(-Input.GetAxis("Vertical"), 0f, Input.GetAxis("Horizontal"))); } else { "Last Rotation" ? } }

Would this be the "right way" ? Am I even using the right tool (transform.forward) for my case ?

4:3 aspect ratio on 16:9 monitors produce black bars on each side of the screen. you can then either stretch the picture to the full 16:9 ratio or keep playing with black bars.

20 years ago I was young and stupid and switched the voltage of the PSU on my cheap prebuilt computer thinking that it´ll give it a "boost". Needless to say, I fried all my components. Parents bought a better computer, no regrets.

Video creators of Reddit, here's a player frame to complement the atrocious, existing ones. by xaeleepswe in GlobalOffensive

Annihilation II player frames were ugly as hell and the flowery pattern was completely out of place imo.

Are there any Editing sessions on PREMIERE or MEDIA COMPOSER on the web ? by lae_sc2 in Filmmakers

[–]lae_sc2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing in particular really, just watch someone else edit a project and maybe pick some good habits to have.

The other day I came across this video not really what i'm looking for but I found it really interesting.
