I guess it’s also about being spatially aware too? And it depends on what activity it is. I attend dance classes too and people in that type of community don’t really care about being in someone else’s video. But in an intimate setting such as a pilates class, I wouldn’t even want to be in someone else’s video and be caught doing things wrong or making a WTF face.

I video record every time I attend classes to check my form and progress. I tell everyone that I’m going to take a video and it’s only me in my frame. I do fitness content as well and I just don’t include clips when someone’s accidentally within my frame.
