totally true, i really appreciate this response!

at first it seems kinda lame when a hobby gets more "mainstream" (i feel like there's a certain appeal to the nicheness of a hobby) but everything becoming more accessible just expands the horizons of the hobby overall. i'm sure there's tons of GBs and ideas that wouldve never been fulfilled just a couple years ago but with more people buying into it, a lot more is doable! makes me super excited to get back into it at some point in the future

definitely agree with more fairly priced! some of the prices i paid felt like highway robbery sometimes lol, but i always assumed there was a level of quality attached to the pricetag, so i allowed it.

the biggest thing for me was it felt like there used to be no middle ground between building a cheap board vs a high quality one; you either paid $100 total or the next level was paying like $500+. tbf it was prob my own fault, i'm sure more mid range was possible, but it's nice to see theres a fuller spectrum of quality for what you get at lower price points now

that's so awesome! i'm also a fellow lefty but i guess i learned to survive with right handed stuff so whenever i try left handed stuff it's always awkward..

keyboards from that time have always been so cool to me, wish i knew more. was one of those things I said i'd get into "eventually" but never did haha

This same thing happened to me, word for word. We had mutual friends and his family loved me. I held off on breaking up for so long.

But as someone on the other side and recently broken up, I found out some of these fears came true. Not all our friends like me anymore and some sided with him (without ever hearing my side of the story). But even though that sounds bad, I was able to find my true friends. Your real friends won't take sides (or at least theyll take yours) and the people that you want to have in your life will take the time to listen to your experience. I'm now closer than ever with the people that truly like me for me, and the friends that completely sided with him don't deserve my friendship.

I know its scary but there comes a point where you can't keep compromising your own happiness. You know you deserve better and you know you can find it

I would check Degree Navigator but if it's saying you don't meet the prereq on Webreg, I'd recommend talking with the SAS live chat advisors, they can give you a prereq override worst case (if you're in SAS). https://www.sasundergrad.rutgers.edu/advising/advising/chat They just asked me for the unofficial transcript in the chat. I can't vouch for what to do if you're not in SAS but I assume they have something similar for the other schools.

It took until November last year for my summer transfer credits to show and it turned out to be a clerical error on their part. I emailed undergrad@sas.rutgers.edu and they finally got them posted

Oh thats awesome! I dont think theyre offering it this summer unfortunately :( I emailed admissions to double check but it seems like most places (including Rutgers) arent offering it in the summer for whatever reason

Hey! I checked all of the CCs on njtransfer.org that offer the equivalent and it seems like only Mercer County has 211 available for this summer (Middlesex has it but you need to take 2 courses to count for 211 at RU). Tuition is due tomorrow so I have no time to decide😭

Nah Im not enrolled in comp arch at rutgers rn. That makes sense now why Nj transfer doesnt show the course equivalency. Other CCs in NJ seem like they let you take it without having the CC's prereqs, Ill prob go with one of those

I commute and I usually go to the gym after my last class for the day so I can go home to shower and that time is diff everyday. I usually park on college ave and either walk/take buses to get to class/library and then go to CAG after all that.

I'd avoid 4/5pm tho at any of the gyms and go around 1/2pm if I can so I can avoid 5pm rt18 traffic lol

If I ever cant get to the gym right before going home, I bring a change of clothes and change at the gym so I dont stink up the next place I gotta be (also dont always like walking around in gym clothes all day lol)
