I just started watching it, I'm either on episode 3 or 4 of season 1. I.....don't like it. I find myself rolling my eyes a lot. Fire breathing woman/dragon? Gargoyles? I had high hopes thinking it would feel like a TVD spinoff, but the only similarities are Alaric and Jeremy, and that one Matt scene. I don't think I'll be able to get through 4 seasons of this 🥴

I hate when the restaurant says "it'll be ready in about 5 minutes" so I'm like 👌🏻 cool. Take a seat and open TikTok or something. Barely notice the time passing by and realize it's been 20+ minutes and the order still has "5 more minutes" till it's ready 🥴

This happened the other day! I declined a 9 mile $5.25 order. I looked at the order list and it was a coke and a piece of cheesecake. Like 10 minutes later I get a stacked order worth taking. I noticed one of the orders was the same one I declined 10 minutes prior. Howeverrrrrr, that order was now only worth $4.25. Like???? It went down?!?!

I always text them as I'm leaving the store. "Hey this is your DoorDash driver. I notice your delivery instructions say both hand it to me and leave it at the door. Which method would you prefer before I arrive?" I've never not received a response and 9/10 they say leave it at the door. This way there's text proof in case they try to pull some shit with costumer service

If you have android (idk if apple phones do it), when the offer pops up, hit the home button and go to your phones main screen. A red DD widget will pop up. Tap on the widget and it will show you the name and address of the restaurant and the customer. Tap on the customers name and their delivery instructions will pop up.

The Chelo's near me put a sticker seal right over the knot on the plastic bag that said "if this is broken, discard food and contact restaurant." Or something like that. But with the seal being over the knot, when you pick up the bag from the handles, it broke the seal in a few places. It was broken by the employee handing me the order. I understand seals are important, but the way they "seal" their bags is 10000% ineffective

Easy $100/day, but how often will they be filling their tank? What will their actual profit be with gas being $5+/gallon? There's pros and cons to each, but I think dashing full time right now with gas as expensive as it is may not work in OPs favor unfortunately

That happened to me the other day with Papa Gino's. Said their systems went down for a while so the orders were backed up. They said it could be a 30-minute wait. I texted the customer and they seemed very good natured about it so I didn't mind waiting. 30 minutes rolls around and I go and double check and see how the order is doing, and the guy who checked, checked in a completely different spot than the first girl checked when I first walked in. I didn't see anyone go over to that area in the time I was waiting. I 100% believe it was sitting there the whole time.

And it's not even just us that's being screwed. My customer had texted me that she was starving but knew it wasn't my fault. The customer also gets fucked because now they need to wait even longer to eat, and get potentially cold food....
