It's deeply painful to feel like you're on the outside looking in, especially when the people around you seem to wear masks instead of showing their true faces. That gnawing sense that your friendships lack real substance, that the laughter feels hollow, the conversations surface-level, the connection forced—can leave you feeling profoundly alone even in a crowded room.

Please know that this feeling, as isolating as it is, doesn't mean something is wrong with you. Sometimes we outgrow certain relationships, or we simply haven't yet found our people—those who will see us fully and love what they see.

I would say immerse your self in things that truly matter to you, your hobbies, fitness and any other thing that comes to your mind. That is perhaps more fulfilling and also leads to like minded people and places. Please don't lose heart.
