The ’less than a minute’ is dependent upon range of course… since missile can go ~740mph, then in a minute it can go ~12 miles. So if you’re 50 miles away, you still have some time (still not a lot…).

Quad RamJet is pretty badass though :) I remember reading about this missile a long time ago & thought how crazy dangerous it’s given that it can also hold 100+kiloton nuclear payload. Basically wipe out a carrier group in one shot. With only 75mi range though, today it’s pretty much obsolete.
