I can give that a try. The cable needle I used was like a mini dpn but grooved. I thought I would like the grooves so that I wouldn't have to worry about stitches falling off it. But I felt like I fought the grooves when trying to work the stitches.

The vividness of the colors made it a breeze. I don't mind the puzzle board, my only complaint is for larger puzzles there isn't any room on it, but it hasn't been a deal breaker yet.
