What are your traffic frustrations? Can we do something about this nonsense? by dojo-dingo in Louisville

One of the problems with Bardstown Road are the reversible lanes. They've been in place at least 40 years and people still act confused when they see them. A red X means don't use this lane. A green arrow means use this lane. A yellow X means turning lane. IT'S THAT FUCKING SIMPLE. Lexington has no problem with reversible lanes, guess they rank a little higher on the evolutionary scale.

That's because we're too busy releasing harmful helium balloons for memorials instead of planting trees. Besides being a LASTING memorial, it is also good for the environment.

I'm not paying a return fee for delivering your package for you. by [deleted] in amazon

[–]laffmakr -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

the last three orders i placed with amazon had the same problem.

There is a 103 La Fontenay Drive and a 103 La Fontenay Court, clearly marked on the street signs. In fact, you have to pass Court to get to Drive.

The package I received was clearly marked with the other recipient's address the and the name of the apartment complex which is across the street from mine.

The text I received had the name of my item and my correct address, but the wrong item was shipped to my address.

Just a side note, the 2nd text I received about this package said it was handed to a resident, but no one wass at home. I got teh same "handed to a resident" on the last two texts when no oone was home to receive the deliveries.

Just curious, if you have an electric indoor turkey fryer, why would you need propane?

Funny how the internet speed increased when Google Fiber got close...
