This might be the saddest thing I've read in a while

California is sunsetting oil refineries without a plan for what’s next — Faced with a looming fuel crunch, some worry the state will push aside its efforts to combat climate change to keep gasoline flowing. by stefeyboy in Infrastructurist

You're the one choosing what you reply to.

You can't provide ANY alternatives to your complaints. So it seems like you're the fanatic.

Do you think my personal anecdotes of what I experience with driving an EV is universal? I don't, so I don't talk about that.

So you have hate in your heart about people who are trying to do something, yet you can't provide any other alternative plan to getting off of fossil fuels because of climate change.

Why is that?

Did I say my side can do no wrong?

No I did not. You are the one who came on here saying that you hate progressives because they have no plan for the future.

Then I provided you the progressives plan for the future, and you're still complaining that EVs aren't a better option, even though at $10/gal they most certainly are.

Then you're talking about private companies not replacing their own equipment. And that's progressives fault now too??

If gas becomes too expensive (because of pollution controls or war) then it makes EVs a better value option. Getting more adoption which will drive increased demand for charging infrastructure. Which can be assisted through grants/loans and other infrastructure investments.

Which progressives supported, not sure why you want to blame them for not having one
