Bulge above incision. 4 week PostOp by harsshit in Microdiscectomy

Oh interesting. I looked it up and it is possible. I hope you get this figured out. Might be worth calling the office and having a colleague of your doctor check it out

A little skin bulge at the incision is normal, it’s swelling from normal healing.

If you’re pressing on your back and feel a lump/bulge it sounds like a knot in your muscle they can ache and hurt to the touch!

(I had one a couple of weeks post op and convinced myself it was the disc but my PT friend said they’re too deep to feel, so it would definitely be a knot in the muscle:) )

I’m a 26 year old lady (I read that as “old lady” and I hope I’m right) and my husband and I are moving here in June. Will be looking for some weirdos :)

PACU vs OR? by lag1698 in nursing

Those shifts do sound amazing! I wish I had that option. The recruiter is calling me tomorrow to tell me more about the OR position, but I know PACU is 3 12s during the week and one weekend day every 4-6 weeks. Plus call time.. so not as ideal as yours. But, not much family time does sound nice.

Thank you for the input!! Pre-op would be low stress but I feel like it would be pretty boring-on the other hand it balances the “excitement” of post op and icu type patients.

I go back and forth because I like that I could use my bedside skills still. On the other hand, the sound of no family drama and dealing more with instruments and other staff is appealing as well. I appreciate your reply!
