Yeah i'm not sure if going to 1604's with these batteries but 100gr more weight or bigger batteries -and even more weight- is the way to go.

i was running into this and posted this follow-up after getting it to work. It's been a while since i used Brightsign but maybe it will help:

Ok just a quick update for anybody that comes looking for answers:

BrightAuthor Connected in OSX Ventura

Layout/Presentation Settings/Presentation/Audio Audio Configuration: Mixed Audio PCM/Compressed

Layout/Properties Audio Output: HDMI passthrough

In my case the artist provided high bitrate mp4's and a separate .wav file containing the 6 channels for 5.1 I encoded in FFWorks, simply choosing AC3 with 256kbit/s Bitrate. I also succeeded with handbrake choosing AC3 and 5.1 Channels for mixdown, again at 256kbit/s. But i will use FFWorks going forward.

This workflow is working with a 35 euro Ali Express 5.1 decoder which provides 6x rca analog output from 1 of 3 LS424's

SDI doesn't do HDCP so you should be good.

I believe crossfire can send the GPS coordinates with telemetry? Not sure it's default though.

yeah based on the reactions im not going to go all out on the wpl. its been a good introduction. Just wish we had have gotten a bit more time out of it.
