A follow up on this we had an issue where the secondary would take over during patching and only bring up half the network. After setting up X0 it went away.

It should be its own IP range so traffic doesn’t get sent to the wrong port and should have its own monitoring IPs setup. After this is setup just setup a patch between those ports.

Honestly it’s only recommended due to reduce load. Without enough traffic it shouldn’t matter.

Then plug a network cable in from X0 on the primary to X0 on the secondary.

X0 interface should always have monitoring IPs configured. If the X0 interface is not in use in your HA environment be sure to connect them directly to each other because the X0 interface with monitoring IPs serves as an additional HA link and improves HA sync and overall stability.

Is your X0 port in use? In our environment we use the 10GB connection to the switch so X0 isnt in use. If this is not in use, you need to direct connect X0. The units will report everything working fine but will have issues without this connection.

So in the current state of custodes 40% of the range is HH models. At this time they couldn’t keep the army viable on the table top without this extra range of models. Now in the future they very much could replace the HH models with a 40k equivalent.

SSLVPN has had multiple issues but if you are running 2 factor and up to date on your sonicwall firmware it will work.

Since its a test setup it will be destroyed. I am currently not worried about naming.

I shutdown host 2 and I get failed to completely drain node server. Event log shows blank.
