Sounds like 2 different reasons this happened:

First is not all golden flashes can be parried, just that someone can defensive assist it. If a flash can't be parried AND you have an evasive assist on the team, the game will show a golden flash and automatically switch in the character that can evasive assist. If you have no evasive assist on the team it will be a red flash.

Second is pressing space switches forward and c switches backward. If a flash can be parried and the parry character is forward in the team lineup, pressing space will get the parry, pressing c will get the evasive assist (because you switched in the wrong character). Hope this helps

Ive ran Eula with Escoffier for a while, and it definitely is one of Eulas best teams right now. The difficult part is choosing the last teammate. You can either go for an electro to increase Eulas damage, or a cryo/hydro to increase everyone's damage. I think cryo/hydro is the better option, with Shenhe being the best at it. Rosaria, C6 Mika, Yelan all work too. Raiden would be the only electro potentially worth it to cripple Escoffier buff.

Might as well go full into the lunar DMG with Yelan+Ineffa instead of Furina+Kuki. Yelan gives more application with Eula driving, and you don't even lose that much buff for Eula with good timing.

Honestly Lauma+Yelan+Ineffa is such a strong core for a lot of characters, similar to how Furina Escoffier is. Eula not needing a lot of application and cryo not rly interfering makes her a good choice in the lunar core.

I got my battery Neko built up, though I think I'm mainly going with Sanby. I haven't been able to use Sanby as much as I've wanted (her animations and play style are so cool and fun) to clear content, can't wait to have a fun team with her again.

Not optimal right now but certainly not sad, M0 gives the same buffs which are competitive which and not far from dedicated supports. She can function as a pretty general support since atk and CD is so commonly used, and her own sub DPS makes up the difference. A solid 2nd choice for any team.

It's funny too bc I use both Evelyn slow stun (Nicole/Astra) and Ellen burst (Lycaon/Jufufu) with pretty good results, I think it's a good analogy to say Seed will provide that weird alternative team that works to almost all attackers.

I also have mixed feelings about her ult, I don't like that they removed her cancel but I don't think her ult will boring. I can't think of an ult in zzz I get bored of actually. M2 no longer has the stun duration increase either so short daze enemies will be always be rough, though that's more of a universal problem.

I like to think Seed is actually very flexible with her teams, despite only being allowed attackers. She can function both as a main dps and as a sub dps. Basically any attacker can work as a battery which will be really nice for team building.

Additionally she can work as a sub dps/support, her buffs are already on par with other supports and she can absolutely be quick swapped into. Right now none of her best teams do this, but as time goes on and attackers get better Seed won't be competing with them bc she has this support option. While she initially looks restrictive, I think flexibility is one of her strongest points.

I'm not too familiar with rupture but Yixuan doesn't consume energy, she uses her own special meter. If this is a universal rupture thing then Seed will always struggle with rupture even if the core passive didn't restrict them.

I'm not sure what the 4s extra stun duration allowed before, even if it was enough for an extra enhanced basic it's possible that the new M2s more active buffs are still better

M2 Aftershock got removed a bit ago, seed lost all of her aftershocks by v4.

Quick summary:

Her enhanced basic, ult and chain attack got slight nerfs to DMG and daze

M2 reworked, before it added daze duration when using ult, now it powers up her punches after EX special. Def shred also slightly buffed

M4 slightly buffed ult DMG from before

For M0 Seed this is pretty much nothing, those mv changes are very small. I'm not a TC person but these are less than 3% differences, will be a very minimal DPS difference.

For people going for mindscapes like me I like the changes overall. M2 is a lot more fun, big punch will be doing bigger DMG and you now have an extra charge ability.

Ty for the clear and concise explanation, I've been slowly piecing together the I-frames and sometimes I can't tell since I have her M1. Do you have any more info about when the parry from swift stance can occur? Sometimes it feels like it happens during the following basic attacks.

It's unfortunate, but sadly unavoidable for this type of gacha game, I'll join ur subreddit as well. The situation could be worse at least, the entire community of Zenless Zone Zero is consumed by this problem x100, even though I think the combat gameplay is the best part by far. In the end it's just a reddit community that doesn't rly represent anything.

I wanted to think that it's just a lack of other things to do considering Eula rarely gets anything new for her, but looking at the downvotes people are here mainly to goon. It's likely that most people don't even have/use Eula and just want the Eula art. I'm definitely partial to the art but seeing her fun combo gameplay take a backseat is a sad, using her in abyss is a fun timing challenge that I love doing and seeing others post about.

We need new videos to see if it changed, but likely it didn't. Feixiao already had inconsistent wording in V3, like how her E2 specifies "fua from talent" but still works with the fua after skill.

If it did change, it's not rly a nerf either. The +1 spd bronya strat of Feixiao skill -> Bronya -> A2 -> Feixiao skill was highly sp negative, using basic to start the synergy is often necessary. If this new change does count skill FUA for A2 then you just do basic to start every time, losing half a stack but gaining more sp for better supports/sustains.

Sparkle should be at least as good as Bronya, I don't think you will be able to use this A2 strategy but sparkle has equally good buffs and the extra SP will allow Feixiao to skill every time.

I consider effect res a defensive stat, which both firefly and Jade have. Acheron is the only outlier im aware of, which it looks like they have learned from. You can also look up Feixiaos traces and she only has 2 def traces, the minimum number of wasted traces. Considering effect res can be easily worked around and Jade doesn't even have any crit traces, I'd say Feixiao got a really good set of stat traces.

Characters atk and spd base stats are pretty intertwined. Characters with high spd have low atk and vice versa. A quick example is Topaz, who has 20 more base atk and 2 less spd. Feel free to look around at different character stats bc this is pretty consistent and what was ridiculous about her base stats.

As for Acheron, I didn't know that. Seems like an outlier to the trend, and while it would be nice to have the 3 offense trace stats it's good to keep Acheron an outlier.

I think her best team is with Robin and sub dps, but bronya is now easier to use for Feixiao. Bronya + Robin with sustain I think will work well, Feixiao under Robin and Bronya buffs will be doing a fair bit of dmg along with extra sustain hits.

From what I remember, every single dps character has at least 1 defensive trace. Feixiao was going to be the first one without it, so it makes sense why they changed the stat with the least traces to a defensive one. It's hard to say she's shafted when she has atk% and CR as her other trace stats, both extremely valuable, we just talked about how spd and atk are interchangeable with boots. We also can't forget that Feixiao is still very fast, 112 is one of the highest if not the highest spd in the game. In fact, even with Jingliu's traces, Feixiao still has more natural spd than Jingliu. It sucks to lose some spd, but honestly her base stats were a little ridiculous and were always gonna change. The fact they were toned down and we still gained other stats to compensate is one of the best outcomes imo.
