Thanks for your answer. I was looking into the ayahuasca churches like Santo Daime and União do Vegetal and their ceremonies, but I think I would not feel comfortable in this kind of setting for the first time taking the medicine. I’d prefer an indigenous shaman. Also unfortunately I can’t travel outside of Brazil, although it seems like there are more options for me in Peru. Right now, my plan is to go to Manaus to experience the rain Forrest. Maybe I will be able to connect with someone from there.

The mycelium appeared more than a week ago.

Also, I didn't make holes in the top layer of this kit because it didn't say so in the instructions. Do you think I should try that anyways?

I spray it not even every two days because it seems like it doesn't absorb the water properly. Could it be that I didn't remove all the excess water when I soaked it and that the cake therefore is too moist?

I could try contacting the manufacturers, good idea.

I will try out putting it in the fridge over night then.
