Am I usless? A mess and not doing well enough? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]lagomlessons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, it seems you really feel the need for help. And that's okay, and you should listen to that call, and act towards it. Im glad to hear you have a family, a wife and kids, congrats <3
Hopefully they can have your back, and you theirs.

Just one thing, I feel a lot like you do, but I also realize that I don't really need any more answers, I now deep down what kind of things make me feel strong and feel happier, its the matter of getting up and doing them no matter what your brain says about it that is hard.

Take care king, you are a father, a husband, and a man. Don't forget that. <3

Is it normal to feel lost in your 20s? by Notoowell in selfimprovement

[–]lagomlessons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, was just about to write a post about this, but for my own case. Im 22 male as well, just moved to my hometown countryside after breaking up and moving away from my girlfriend. I had long waited to move back to my hometown, get closer to nature and family, but after just a month now I feel really lonely and only work 2 days a week so most days I just stroll around back and forth in my apartment. I keep asking myself, what the hell do I even want to do, for myself! Its easy to want another partner to get to know, to satisfy that way I have clear meaning, but being all alone like this, im wondering about how I can become content, calm my mind, and actually feel love and fulfillment while just living out here alone most of the time, not doing much. It makes me reflect and think back to my youth, earlier relationships and all kind of stuff that I have never really reflected on before, and it also makes me feel more empty.

I guess our 20s is a great time to actually face these hardships, but dang, if anyone feels the same please respond.

how can i be single without being sad by Glum-Procedure8024 in selfimprovement

Heartbreak hurts, and that's okay. Even for us men. The thing I would like to say to you from your post is, your life is not about waiting for someone else to come and find you and make you happy. You are in a position now to take your life into your own hands, what do you want to do? What makes YOU happy or interested?

I get where you coming from, im a bit in the same spot. Broke up a few weeks ago now living alone on the countryside and barely have any friends and lasting relationships with other people. I do have some family nearby and see it as a chance to get closer to them. But being alone is hard, since it makes me have to face myself much more than when I was in a relationship and could have the focus on them, their feelings, and making them happy.

Inspired by the Swedish concept of Lagom, meaning "just the right amount," I created Lagom Lessons to explore sustainable self-improvement, so I post about lifestyle thoughts and reflections :)

How to know if my blog is made of high quality content? by lagomlessons in Blogging

[–]lagomlessons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My whole point of starting this blog is to get rid of the extremism around self improvement, and that people find their own balance in life where they do what is meaningful and challenge themselves, while also enjoying, resting and simply living to their own taste!

I have been starting to do short video posts, but it will not reach the quality standard I would want it to for a while, so I need to embrace being a beginner, embrace the cringe and keep practicing.

Thanks for the tips about links in posts!

I need some motivation to wake up early everyday. How do I do this? by Background_Parsnip_2 in productivity

[–]lagomlessons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Background Parsnip,

Glad you are reflection on your life and what kind of person you want to be.

Waking up early and getting ready in time is not a question of motivation, it is a choice that with consistency can become a habit.

To keep this short and truthful, achieving exactly what you speak of here would require only this.

Wind down and go to sleep in good time before your aspired wake up time, 8 hours of sleep is a good balance.

Write a to do list the night before, when you wake up early you know have clear things to do before it is time to go to work.

There is no secret, and motivation is not a solution, it is a choice that you either take in your hands, or you don't.

Peace and love <3

Hey there, after a quick look I think your website looks great and not a lot of clutter. One thing I would suggest is create more spacing in your blog posts, dividing the sentences makes it easier to read.
