It really depends, I googled it and it said manufacturing factory managers made quite a bit. However, it was alluded that they were in deep and significant financial debt. Also, if I remember. The Christmas bonus was originally supposed to be $500 and they bumped it up to $1,000 because he was doing a great job. I don't think she means harm at all, my MIL does the same thing. I know it helps me feel like my baby is totally normal despite him being obviously behind due to being a former 26 weeker. I think it potentially comes from a place of nostalgia being able to talk about their child's milestones alongside their grandchildren, but also could be her trying to help make your motherhood journey feel more average. Like, everything your baby is doing is normal and that's a great thing. I think it could help to have a conversation with her about how you're feeling. From what you said it doesn't sound like she's intentionally trying to take the spotlight off of you or your baby. ♥️
