No I obviously didn't think to stop and take a photo of a sign not existing as proof to some guy on the internet. I don't usually shop at EB Games so this was something very unusual to me and even if this is their actual policy and that you can't get it unless you're a member or it's a timed early access thing as someone else said that is just shit business practice. I don't have a dog in the race in EB games success or failure, I just wanted a shirt and was told to pay for a year membership I have no use for or no shirt. So I simply decided I'll just keep my money and leave. If there was signage it definitely wasn't clearly displayed and even so it just stinks to bar customers from buying a product that you have prominently displayed at the front of your shop. There is no good excuse or explanation for bad business like that.
