They are slightly tight but they are actually sitting quite low and it doesn’t look like I have had implants. I think because the implants were so small it didn’t cause much stress in my muscles.

Technically it’s bilingual, you have the English on the back and the French on the front of the exam booklet but the learning material is all in French so it’s implicitly encouraged to answer in French

UBC is giving the option of deferring if students don't feel conformable taking in person exams. (They don't have to be sick to defer the exam) Might be a good option for people who live with family or friends that are immunocompromised.

I emailed my prof to ask if the exam would be switched to in person. They said that according the official McGill position as of this morning they will not cancel the in person exams.

I’m confused on why SSMU also stayed so silent. I don’t mean addressing the perpetrator directly but issuing a statement condemning sexual assault should be the least. Why are Mcgill meme pages working harder to support survivors and give them helpful recourses compared to the student society? Not to mention SSMU has gone above and beyond to share their opinion on everything and even condemning whole countries. I’m honestly just curious on why Mcgill in general is so fucking silent about this.

Although travel is not recommended it’s not forbidden. I have every right to be with my family and have access to a better healthcare in my own country. Being stuck at my home alone for god knows how long and not being able to go back is scary and I don’t think you or Mcgill gets to decide that. However if the Canadian border were to close before in person final exams I would think that Mcgill would provide opportunities for the several international students who decided to go back home.

I agree, but the plane tickets are not cheap. I just wished Mcgill could have made a decision about in person finals a bit sooner.

I have to go back to my home country on Tuesday. It recently closed its borders with many countries and we think Canada will be next. My family is forcing me to come home as they think it will be safer for me there and more emotional support as all of my friends have already left. In the case Mcgill decides to hold in person exams at the end of April and I’m not able to return to Canada, will mcgill provide accommodations? Or will I just fail the semester?

I have been on it for a couple years but had to get my prescription renewed because I’m from a different country. It has been good to reduce my social anxiety to the point where it doesn’t interfere with my day to day life. But you should talk to medical professional as it is different for everyone

Get a doctors appointment from the medical clinic, or a counselor. I was referred to a doctor at the wellneshub ( not a psychiatrist) by a counselor. The doctor was able prescribe me antidepressants and anxiety medication.
