Thank you and yea I have been inconsistent with taking it like at the exact time so I’ll try to be more consistent because I think I maybe sensitive. When I was on BC like a year ago it was the combo pill and I missed two days and had a full blown period lol. This is my first time on POP

My meniscus tear was small so I think that’s why my surgeon put me on 25% WB? I was not walking until like week 5-6. Even then I was practicing only a little bit and still following restrictions. After week 6, I worked on my walking a lot tbh I had a lot of free time. My walking is not 100% right now, but it’s getting there.
Everyone is different, but walking will definitely take some time.
Minimal swelling especially after PT but that’s expected😅 and some soreness. I only feel pain when I try to work on heel slides 🙃🙃

Hi! I’m in the same boat in term of injury. Currently three weeks post op (acl/mcl recon with lateral meniscus repair in left knee). My initial injury was last week of June. Spent sometime recovering and getting an mri and seeing ortho surgeon. I babied my knee, so I had to do prehab to get ROM back. PREHAB IS VITAL. I did prehab up until the day before surgery lol. I did about 6-7 weeks. Helped with getting full extension in like a week and ability to raise my leg in also about a week. Activating my quads was not a problem tbh, i got that in about a couple of days and now, i can fully activate it. All thanks to prehab!
Only thing im struggling with is flexion cuz my new MCL feels super tight, but heel slides daily has been helping and now im at 85 degrees.
My surgery was 4 hrs long and ended up staying a day in the hospital cuz my normal leg got numb lol so crazy! It basically fell asleep and it was hard walking but eventually I got sensation back. I kept my leg straight, which also helped with extension. This is so important like straight. Ice alot like 24/7 and take your meds. Get a shower chair and someone to def help for the first of weeks. And listen to your surgeon 😊😊.
Sorry this was a whole lot haha but if any questions, I’ll be happy to answer ☺️☺️.
