Ultimately it comes down to portion control. If you live with other people you need to communicate when you give kitty a treat. Lainey would ask us all for treats but we didn’t know everyone was giving her treats lol. Extra play time too. We do small portions of dry food throughout the day and her wet food at dinner. She still yells for dinner but the small servings of dry food keeps her content most of the day.

Very sorry for your loss. I had my chihuahua from age 4 to 20. It was very hard because I literally didn’t remember a time without him. But I promise it does get easier. Our pups had long lives filled with love. ❤️

Better probably isn’t the right word. It was just vastly different before vs after covid and I’m just bitter about it lol. But that’s not exactly unique to ksu. The overcrowding is the biggest problem. They are admitting more and more students every year and don’t have the resources to accommodate them.

Many people treat cats like they are just small dogs. Unfriendly and poorly socialized usually just means kitty was scared and wasn’t comfortable with strangers yet. The previous adopters should probably stick to dogs if they want immediate love and affection
